Wintery works and rambles
Welcome to this little winter warmer post, there has been so much going on in the world lately and I find that I pull inward when things get crazy. I have been spending more time in the studio and I am very excited about my latest camper project (couple sneak peeks below).
Just a few weeks back I was attending a virtual weekend workshop which also made for some productivity, it was a surface design workshop with artist from all over the world and was just fantastic!
Last week I finally got around to finishing up this resin series below in time for a couple show submissions and my upcoming open studio. I finished a few more sea shell pieces from just before the holidays and recently did a little more shuffling in the studio and it is feeling so cozy!
I am so grateful to share this space with folks looking to get their hands dirty and learn a little bit about clay or just coming by for one day of clay fun, either way I am so proud of these sweet projects! I just put some new workshop projects up and they are gonna be fun, I have expanded then to include kids (with adult supervision). I also created a form link for folks looking to book with a group so lots of new things for the year!
Event work with Keane’s got an early start this year with a wintery wedding at a cool spot in Pawtucket, Machines with Magnets. This spot is a gallery - recording studio - and event space. We have another event booked here in a few more weeks.
Before things really pick up I and doing a thermocouple re-wiring and then we will FIRE THAT KILN UP! These last parts are on the way and I an hoping to get this upgrade done this week and I will share some juicy nuggets about that in another post.
