About the Artist…

I was born in the Mojave Desert of California, and grew up in Newport, RI. I have always loved making with my hands, spending much of my time in high school and first year of college investigating screen printing and book arts before stumbling into the ceramics studio. I began these studies at CCRI (Warwick, RI) and continued at OCAC (Portland, OR) then I worked my way back to New England to earn a degree from UMass Dartmouth (South Dartmouth, MA).

I have also been a resident artist at Red Lodge Clay Center (2017, Red Lodge, MT), The Steel Yard (2017, Providence, RI), and Worcester Center for Craft (2018 - 2019, Worcester, MA)

I'm currently creating work at 80 Fountain street in Pawtucket, RI. In addition to creating functional work or exploring themes of place and home through sculpture works, I also offer one day workshops. When I'm not in the studio, you will find me working with Keane’s Wood-Fired Catering booking and managing events.
